Report: The number of daily active wallets in blockchain games in January increased nearly 4 times year-on-year, with OpBNB becoming the most active gaming public chain of the month

ChainCatcher news, according to a report released by DappRadar, shows that the number of daily active wallets (UAW) for blockchain games reached 7 million in January 2025, a year-on-year increase of 386%. OpBNB became the most active gaming public chain for the month, with Matchain in second place, and Polygon's gaming activity grew by 100% month-on-month.

The report pointed out that although investment in blockchain games in 2024 decreased by 38% year-on-year to $1.8 billion, the industry is entering a mature stage, with continuous development in areas such as Layer-2, token economics, and AAA game collaborations.
