ChainCatcher previously reported that Bybit CEO Ben Zhou posted on X platform, stating that about 1 hour ago, Bybit's ETH multi-signature cold wallet just transferred to our hot wallet. It seems that this specific transaction was forged, and all signers saw a forged UI that displayed the correct address, with the URL coming from Safe.eth.

However, the signature information was meant to change the smart contract logic of our ETH cold wallet. This allowed hackers to control our signed specific ETH cold wallet and transfer all ETH from the cold wallet to this unidentified address. Please rest assured that all other cold wallets are secure. All withdrawals are normal.
