Vitalik: Considering migrating Ethereum to Poseidon hash to optimize zk-prover friendliness

We are seriously considering migrating Ethereum to the Poseidon hash to optimize zk-prover friendliness, so having more information about its security properties is of great value."

The application deadline for the Poseidon funding program has been extended to March 15, 2025.
