ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, stablecoin issuer Circle co-founder and CEO Jeremy Allaire stated that digital token issuers pegged to the dollar should register to operate in the United States.

It is reported that in February this year, Republican Senator Bill Hagerty proposed a bill aimed at establishing a regulatory framework for U.S.-backed stablecoins.

Jeremy Allaire explained in an interview with Bloomberg, "Operating a dollar stablecoin should not be a free pass. Whether it's an offshore company or one headquartered elsewhere, if you want to offer a dollar stablecoin in the U.S., you need to register in the U.S., just like we have to register elsewhere."
