ChainCatcher news, according to PeckShieldAlert monitoring, there were 20 cryptocurrency hacks in February, resulting in approximately $1.51 billion in losses, making it the most devastating month in cryptocurrency history. The Bybit incident alone accounted for $1.43 billion in losses, topping the list of the largest breaches in the past 5 years. The top 5 hacking incidents include:

  • Bybit: $1.4 billion
  • Infini: $49.5 million
  • zkLend: $9.66 million
  • Ionic: $8.6 million
  • SujiYan: $4 million
