Metis launched a new high-performance chain Hyperion dedicated to AI, which will launch its testnet before April this year

ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, Metis Foundation's Natalia announced at ETH Denver the launch of a new high-performance Layer 2 chain, Metis Hyperion. The new chain guarantees complete compatibility with Ethereum while providing uncompromising security assurance for AI applications, seamless scalability, and enterprise-level system reliability. Its three key innovations include an optimized inference engine, accelerated hardware, and zero-knowledge proofs, which will enable AI models to operate efficiently within blockchain infrastructure while maintaining high security.

Its testnet will be launched between February and April 2025, featuring high-performance sorting nodes, initial developer tools, and framework testing capabilities. The mainnet will be delivered between May and August 2025, providing a high-throughput Layer 2 network and a complete developer suite in a production environment. Between September and December of this year, the Metis Hyperion mainnet will undergo upgrades, including instant feedback, parallel execution, and enhanced AI model support.
