ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, Custodia Bank and Vantage Bank have issued the first U.S. bank-backed stablecoin Avit based on a permissionless blockchain, running on Ethereum. The issuance of this stablecoin marks an important step forward for compliant, dollar-based blockchain technology payments.
