ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, American financial giant Fidelity Investments launched a retirement plan on Thursday that allows direct investment in cryptocurrencies, opening up a new channel for investors to allocate digital assets.

According to information on Fidelity's official website, this cryptocurrency IRA (Individual Retirement Account) product is open to all U.S. citizens aged 18 and over, supporting three digital assets: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Litecoin (LTC). All cryptocurrency assets will be custodied by Fidelity through cold wallets, with no management fees. Investors can choose from three account types: Roth IRA, Traditional IRA, or Rollover IRA.
