The four-week average of initial jobless claims in the U.S. for the week ending March 29 was 223,000, with the previous value revised from 224,000 to 224,250.

The number of continuing jobless claims in the U.S. for the week ending March 22 was 1.903 million, expected to be 1.87 million, and the previous value was revised from 1.856 million to 1.847 million.
