2025-04-09 17:55:51

ChainCatcher news, according to Cryptonews, Glassnode's chief analyst James Check posted on the X platform, pointing out that historically, Ethereum has lagged behind Bitcoin in most market cycles.

Since Ethereum's launch in 2015, it has outperformed Bitcoin on only 15% of trading days. Ethereum briefly surpassed Bitcoin in its early days, particularly from mid-2015 to mid-2017, and from late 2019 to early 2020. Since the beginning of 2020, Bitcoin has maintained dominance. The ETH/BTC ratio has now fallen to its lowest point in five years at 0.018, the lowest level since December 2019. At that time, Ethereum was priced at $125, while Bitcoin was trading at around $7,000.
