The EU trade commissioner will travel to Washington for negotiations before the weekend

ChainCatcher news, according to Jinshi reports, an EU spokesperson said on Friday that European Commission Vice President Šefčovič will travel to Washington for negotiations before Sunday.

"The Trade Commissioner will go to Washington and try to sign an agreement. That is what we are focused on," said Olof Gill, the European Commission's trade spokesperson. "If we cannot achieve a good result, all options are on the table."
