Binance Alpha and Binance Contracts will launch Balance (EPT) on April 21
Binance Alpha will launch and open trading for Balance (EPT) at 20:00 on April 21. Additionally, the Binance contract platform will launch the EPTUSDT perpetual contract at 21:00 on April 21, with a maximum leverage of 20 times.
209th Ethereum ACDE Meeting: Pectra Client expected to be released on April 21
According to Tim Beiko's summary, the 209th Ethereum Execution Layer Core Developers Meeting (ACDE) focused on the upcoming Pectra and Fusaka upgrades. The Pectra client is expected to be released on April 21, adding EIP-7702 delegation status to JSON-RPC.
Regarding Fusaka, it is confirmed that EIP-7823 (limiting MODEXP complexity), EIP-7825 (transaction gas limit), and EIP-7907 (contract code size measurement and limit increase) will be included; either EIP-7762 or EIP-7918 will be adopted in the blob fee mechanism to balance resource utilization and market supply and demand.
Coinbase applies to CFTC to launch XRP futures, expected to go live on April 21
Coinbase Derivatives announced that it has submitted an application to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to launch XRP futures contracts, which are expected to go live on April 21, 2025.

According to CoinDesk, interoperability protocol Hyperlane disclosed airdrop details, which will take place on April 22. The majority of token distribution will go to the community, with 57% allocated to users, while the remaining circulating tokens will be distributed to the core team (25%), investors (10.9%), and the foundation treasury (7.1%).
Users can check their eligibility for $HYPER tokens through the portal provided by the Hyperlane Foundation before April 13.

According to Cryptoslate, the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) announced it is inviting companies to apply to join its tokenized regulatory sandbox, with applications due by April 24, 2025. The DFSA is an independent authority responsible for regulating the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). In a March 17 announcement, the DFSA stated that the sandbox program aims to attract companies looking to offer tokenized investment products and services. The sandbox provides a controlled environment for businesses to test tokenized financial solutions under the supervision of regulators.
The DFSA specified that eligible services include tokenized stocks, bonds, sukuk, and collective investment fund units. Both existing firms authorized by the DFSA looking to expand their tokenized business and eligible new applicants can submit applications. After submission, companies will enter an evaluation process. Successful applicants will receive structured testing opportunities within the sandbox and tailored regulatory guidance. The DFSA emphasized that only firms with strong business models and solid compliance capabilities will be selected. This sandbox program is part of the DFSA's broader innovation testing license initiative aimed at helping businesses refine financial products and prepare for full authorization.
According to the official announcement, Coinbase International will launch trading for WCT, BABY, KERNEL, and PROMPT perpetual contracts on April 24.
Binance will list Initia (INIT) on April 24 at 19:00
Binance Launchpool will launch the 68th project Initia (INIT). Initia is an L1 blockchain that connects application chains through interwoven infrastructure and coordinated economic mechanisms to unlock their full value.
Users can stake BNB, FDUSD, and USDC into the INIT reward pool on the Launchpool website starting from 08:00 on April 18, 2025 (UTC+8), with the activity lasting for a total of 6 days.
Binance will list Initia (INIT) at 19:00 on April 24, 2025 (UTC+8), and open trading markets for INIT/USDT, INIT/USDC, INIT/BNB, INIT/FDUSD, and INIT/TRY, subject to seed label trading rules.
Arbitrum ecosystem currency market protocol Dolomite will have its TGE on April 24
According to official news, the Arbitrum ecosystem currency market protocol Dolomite will hold its DOLO token generation event (TGE) on April 24. The total token supply is 1 billion, with approximately 361 million in circulation at TGE (including locked veDOLO).
The platform will retroactively airdrop 20% of the total token supply to users, with the airdrop snapshot taken on January 6, 2025. Additionally, 3% of the tokens will be allocated to Boyco deposit users.
