ChainCatcher news, according to X user @jeg6322, the a16z crypto startup accelerator CSX 04 cohort project Toji's X (@Toji_video) account is a fake account and is suspected of misleading users to participate in token sales.

@jeg6322 stated that the impersonating Toji team had invited him via private message to write promotional content for the project, but the account was not followed or verified by credible individuals, and there was no official statement confirming its authenticity. @jeg6322 requested credible endorsement but received no response.

Days later, the account opened a Telegram group and started promoting token sales. Despite the lack of official verification, some users have followed the account and engaged in community interactions.

a16z's cryptocurrency investment team partner jay replied under the tweet, saying: "Correct, this is not the real Toji account; it is an impersonator."
