ChainCatcher news, according to Whale Alert monitoring, at midnight Beijing time today, Tether Treasury minted a total of 2 billion USDT on the Ethereum chain through two transactions.

Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that the newly minted USDT is a replenishment of inventory and is a transaction that has been authorized but not issued.
