BlackRock applies to add DLT Shares to its $150 billion money market fund, planning to use blockchain technology to map ownership
ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg ETF analyst Henry Jim, BlackRock has applied to add a digital share class (DLT) to its $150 billion money market fund.
The DLT shares will only be sold through BNY Mellon, with plans to use blockchain technology to map ownership. Henry Jim believes this move may be preparing for the future use of digital currencies/cash.
