ChainCatcher news, PayPal disclosed in a filing submitted on Tuesday that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has terminated its investigation into its dollar stablecoin PYUSD and will not take enforcement action.

PayPal stated that the SEC's enforcement division had previously issued a subpoena in November 2023, requesting documents related to PYUSD, and notified that the investigation was closed in February 2025.
