Kraken has completed the acquisition of NinjaTrader, with Q1 revenue increasing by 19% year-on-year

ChainCatcher news, the encrypted exchange Kraken has completed the acquisition of the registered futures broker NinjaTrader from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and reported a 19% year-over-year increase in first-quarter revenue, reaching $471.7 million. Although first-quarter revenue decreased by 7% quarter-over-quarter due to overall market weakness, adjusted EBITDA increased by 1% quarter-over-quarter. The exchange's total trading volume increased by 29% year-over-year, and the number of funded accounts grew by 26% year-over-year.
