Data: Doodles NFT sales surged 97% before the DOOD token airdrop
ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, the NFT project Doodles has seen a sales surge of 97% in the past 24 hours, reaching $1.1 million, ranking third in the day's NFT sales chart. Its total sales over the past week reached $2.6 million (a week-on-week increase of 368%). The market enthusiasm is driven by the project's upcoming generation event for the Solana chain token DOOD on May 9, along with an airdrop for Doodles NFT holders.
Additionally, CryptoSlam data shows that with the surge in activities for Doodles and other collectibles, the total trading volume in the NFT market over the past seven days has exceeded $103 million, a 7% increase from the previous week. Ethereum-based NFTs still lead, with sales of $26.5 million in the past seven days. Polygon NFTs rank second with sales of $19.1 million, largely thanks to the real-world asset NFT platform Courtyard, which has sales exceeding $17 million, making it the highest-selling NFT collectible of the week.
