Coinbase officially announces the acquisition of the cryptocurrency options platform Deribit

ChainCatcher news, Coinbase officially confirms that it is acquiring the cryptocurrency options platform Deribit to unify spot, futures, and options trading.

"Through Deribit, Coinbase becomes the largest platform in the global crypto derivatives space by open interest and options trading volume, with Deribit bringing approximately $30 billion in open interest and over $1 trillion in trading volume, solidifying Coinbase's position as a leader in the global crypto market."
