Vietnam launches Layer1 blockchain 1Matrix

ChainCatcher news, according to Coin Track Daily, institutions such as Techcombank, Techcom Securities, Masterise Group, and One Mount Group have jointly launched the local Layer1 blockchain project 1Matrix, which has now partnered with the Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA).

It is reported that, unlike the Ronin chain developed by the gaming company Sky Mavis, 1Matrix is positioned as a multifunctional infrastructure aimed at serving the strategic needs of various industries in Vietnam. The project has received support from political figures, including Major General Dang Vu Son, the former head of the government’s Crypto Committee, and has established a strategic partnership with the Boston Consulting Group, with goals including strengthening data sovereignty and cybersecurity capabilities.
