The Chinese lead in the economic and trade talks, Vice Premier He Lifeng, met with the U.S. leads, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Trade Representative Katherine Tai, for high-level economic and trade discussions in Geneva, Switzerland. Both sides had candid, in-depth, and constructive communication regarding the implementation of the important consensus reached during the phone call between the Chinese and U.S. heads of state on January 17, and they reached a series of important agreements, making substantial progress in the talks.
