This move comes swiftly in response to an incident in downtown Paris where armed assailants attempted to kidnap the daughter and grandson of a CEO of a cryptocurrency trading platform.
Recently, France has witnessed several violent kidnapping cases targeting cryptocurrency millionaires, including the heinous incident where Ledger co-founder David Balland was kidnapped and had his fingers severed.
