OpenAI has made the GPT-4.1 model available to ChatGPT users

ChainCatcher News, the OpenAI Research Center has announced that, in response to widespread user requests, GPT-4.1 will be available directly in ChatGPT starting today.

GPT-4.1 is a specialized model focused on coding tasks and instruction following. Plus, Pro, and Team users will be able to access GPT-4.1 through the "More Models" dropdown menu in the model selector. Enterprise and education users will gain access in the coming weeks. OpenAI will also launch GPT-4.1 mini to replace the existing GPT-4o mini, which will be available to all users in ChatGPT.
