Data: A trader lost $2.788 million in high-leverage trading of BTC and ETH on Hyperliquid over 2 days
ChainCatcher news, according to on-chain analyst Ember (@EmberCN), a trader lost $2.788 million within two days through three high-leverage trades on the Hyperliquid platform.
The specific operations included: shorting 41,851 Ether with 25x leverage, with a position value of approximately $103 million, resulting in a loss of $2.46 million; subsequently going long on 166 Bitcoin with 40x leverage, with a position value of $17.6 million, losing $175,000 within 45 minutes; and finally shorting 2,636 Ether at a price of $2,444 with 25x leverage, which triggered a stop-loss due to the liquidation price moving down from adding to the position.
The trader initially invested 2.96 million USDC and was left with only 172,000 USDC.
