South Korean actress Hwang Jung-eum is facing public condemnation for embezzling 3 million dollars to purchase cryptocurrency, and has already been prosecuted by the prosecution

ChainCatcher news, South Korean actress Hwang Jung-eum has been edited out of the final episode of the SBS Plus reality show "Single's Inferno" after admitting to embezzling $3.1 million (approximately 4.34 billion KRW) from her company to invest in cryptocurrency. "Hwang Jung-eum's video clips will not appear in the final episode airing tonight at 8:30 PM," the production team stated on Tuesday, according to local media, "Her comments as a host will also be minimized."

Earlier reports indicated that Hwang Jung-eum appeared in court last Thursday at the Jeju District Court, admitting to embezzling approximately $3 million (around 4.2 billion KRW) from her family-run business to purchase cryptocurrency. The South Korean prosecution has charged her under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes.
