Former SafeMoon CEO convicted of three felonies, facing up to 45 years in prison
ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, a New York jury found former SafeMoon CEO Braden Karony guilty of conspiracy to commit fraud, money laundering, and telecommunications fraud, all felonies, with the jury reaching a verdict in just one day after a two-week trial. Karony is accused of misappropriating funds for personal use, facing a maximum sentence of 45 years. His co-defendant Smith has turned state’s witness, while Nagy is suspected of fleeing to Russia.
