Survey: Over 90% of Singaporeans are familiar with cryptocurrencies, but the ownership rate has dropped to 29%

ChainCatcher news, according to the 2025 Singapore cryptocurrency market survey released by Independent Reserve, 94% of Singaporean respondents are familiar with crypto assets, but the actual ownership rate has dropped from 40% last year to 29%.

Nevertheless, 53% of holders plan to increase their holdings in the coming year, and 17% of non-holders are also considering entering the market. Bitcoin remains the most trusted, with 68% of investors holding it, and 86% believing it has currency or store of value functions. The report also noted that the holding rate of meme coins reached 28%, and the usage rate of stablecoins increased to 46%, reflecting a high expectation for regulatory guidance in the market.
