JPMorgan: The market's expectations for the stablecoin market cap to exceed $1 trillion are overly optimistic
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, despite the strong momentum for stablecoin legislation in the U.S. (such as the GENIUS Act), JPMorgan analysts are still delaying their trillion-dollar stablecoin predictions.
They stated that although the U.S. regulatory framework is strengthening, predicting that the market value of stablecoins could double or quadruple from the current approximately $240 billion in the next year or two (approaching the trillion-dollar mark) is still "too optimistic."
