Roam launches Premium eSIM, integrating voice calls, SMS, and data features
ChainCatcher news, blockchain communication service provider Roam announced the launch of its Premium eSIM service at the Solana Accelerate conference, integrating voice calls, SMS, and data services, covering over 160 countries and regions worldwide. The product can be activated with one click through the Roam App, eliminating the need for a physical SIM card. A live demonstration of the registration, top-up, and KYC verification processes was presented, and its number service and communication features will be fully available soon.
Leveraging over 8 million WiFi nodes globally, users can enjoy free wireless internet access and earn free data rewards through check-ins. The SAS integration will strengthen the digital identity verification mechanism and promote the development of an open wireless network ecosystem.
Additionally, Roam simultaneously announced that it has become one of the first applications to access the Solana Authentication Service (SAS), utilizing this decentralized identity verification protocol to ensure user privacy and security.
