OpenAI will establish an office in South Korea
ChainCatcher news, according to foreign media reports, OpenAI has established a legal entity in South Korea, seeking to further promote the adoption of its artificial intelligence technology.
The ChatGPT manufacturer stated in a press release on Monday that it plans to open an office in Seoul in the coming months and is hiring employees to support collaboration with businesses and policymakers. OpenAI's data shows that South Korea has the highest number of paid ChatGPT users outside the United States. This will be OpenAI's third office in Asia, following Japan and Singapore.
The San Francisco-based company stated that it currently has nearly 40 employees in Japan and another 20 employees in Singapore.
