EU Commissioner: US Court Ruling on Tariffs Adds Uncertainty

He stated, "The current negotiation environment is full of variables, and the situation is changing rapidly." Dombrovskis reiterated that the EU is committed to reaching a negotiation agreement with the U.S., "because the relationship between the EU and the U.S. is very good. The trade relationship between the EU and the U.S. is the largest in the world, so there are many economic stakes involved." He also described the tariff situation as "urgent," as it poses negative economic impacts for both the EU and the U.S.
