ZachXBT: The source of the 300 BTC funds received by Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht is questionable

ChainCatcher news, on-chain detective ZachXBT tweeted that the 300 BTC received by Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht is suspected to be linked to two addresses (1Mp5hH and 1CNDW), which are associated with exchange activities in 2014 and 2019, respectively, and 1CNDW has been flagged as a suspicious address by compliance tools.

The two addresses were dormant from November 2019 to April-May 2025, and then deposits were made through Jambler, coinciding with the time Ross received the donations. ZachXBT believes that this donation is not self-donated, but its source is suspicious.
