ChainCatcher news, when discussing the China-U.S. economic and trade relations, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce, He Yadong, introduced that the first meeting of the China-U.S. economic and trade consultation mechanism discussed and reached consensus on implementing the agreement from the phone call between the two heads of state on June 5, as well as the consensus framework from the Geneva talks, making new progress in addressing each other's economic and trade concerns. China's position against unilateral tariff measures has been consistent, urging the U.S. side to adhere to WTO rules and work with China to jointly promote the stable and sustainable development of China-U.S. economic and trade relations based on the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation.
