DWF Ventures: Meme coins and AI tokens dominate the Binance Alpha project, accounting for about 10% of the spot market launch

ChainCatcher news, DWF Ventures stated on platform X, "Since the launch of Binance Alpha in December 2024, Binance Alpha has launched over 190 projects, of which more than 70% currently have a market capitalization of less than $50 million, with Meme coins and AI tokens dominating, and DeFi projects ranking third. The number of Meme coins and AI projects exceeds the total of all other on-chain tracks. Solana is the most commonly used public chain for selected projects, followed by BNB Chain and Ethereum.

About 10% of Alpha projects successfully transitioned to the spot market, with a total of 19 projects achieving spot listings. The success rate for DeFi and Meme coins transitioning to spot is the highest. Projects transitioning from Alpha to the spot market typically have active social media buzz, high trading volumes, and hold leading positions in popular on-chain segments."
