An address exploited the Meta Pool vulnerability to mint mpETH out of thin air and exchanged it for ETH

ChainCatcher message, according to Cyvers Alerts (@CyversAlerts) analysis, in a suspicious transaction involving Meta Pool, an address seems to have exploited the mint( ) function to mint mpETH without depositing actual ETH, with an estimated loss of about $47,000. The stolen mpETH is currently being exchanged for ETH.
