Her management company Y1 Entertainment stated on the 17th that Hwang Jung-eum repaid the amount withdrawn as debt from Xunmin Jung-eum Entertainment on the 30th of last month and the 5th of this month. Previously, Hwang Jung-eum had embezzled 4.34 billion won from Xunmin Jung-eum Entertainment around 2022, and invested 4.2 billion won in virtual currency, facing trial for violating the Act on the Aggravated Punishment, etc. of Specific Economic Crimes (embezzlement).
