Self Chain CEO dismissed for allegedly participating in a $50 million cryptocurrency OTC trading fraud
According to The Block, the blockchain project Self Chain has dismissed founder Ravindra Kumar from his position as CEO after users accused him of orchestrating a fraud scheme that lasted several months and involved over $50 million.
Self Chain issued a statement announcing a "decisive leadership change" following Kumar's alleged involvement in the OTC trading fraud.
Previously, Kumar denied all allegations, calling them "completely false," and stated that his lawyer would respond.
Binance Alpha to launch Mango Network (MGO)
According to an official announcement, Binance Alpha will be the first platform to launch on Mango Network (MGO), with trading set to open on June 24, with the exact time to be determined. Eligible users can claim airdrops using Binance Alpha points on the Alpha event page after trading opens.
According to Jinshi Data, Hong Kong's "Stablecoin Regulation" will take effect on August 1. Yu Weiwen, president of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, stated that Hong Kong has set relatively strict standards for stablecoin issuers, with high entry barriers that are almost on par with electronic wallet and bank regulations. It is expected that only a few licenses will be issued in the first phase, and the issued stablecoins will have different specific uses, such as for cross-border trade.
Yu Weiwen mentioned that the Hong Kong Monetary Authority has very strict requirements for risk management, whether it is asset reserve management, stabilization mechanisms, redemption policies, or, most importantly, anti-money laundering regulations, which are almost the same as those for electronic wallets and banks. Since stablecoins have payment attributes, the "Stablecoin Regulation" provides a comprehensive regulatory framework for issuers, ensuring that similar risks have similar regulatory rules, and promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the industry.
Binance: Alpha points reaching 247 will be eligible for 250 CARV airdrop
Binance Alpha has launched CARV (CARV). Eligible Binance users can claim 250 CARV tokens airdrop using Binance Alpha points on the Alpha event page within 24 hours after trading starts.

Claiming the airdrop will consume 15 Binance Alpha points.
Binance: BNSOL Super Staking to launch the ninth project Fusionist (ACE)
According to Binance's official announcement, BNSOL Super Staking will launch the ninth project - Fusionist (ACE), a Web3 AAA game developed by a group of experienced industry professionals using Unity and HDRP technology, providing all users with high-quality products and engaging gaming experiences. Binance founder Zhao Changpeng stated that two days ago it was CoinMarketCap, and now it is Cointelegraph; hackers are currently targeting cryptocurrency information websites, and users must be cautious when authorizing wallet connections.
For CoinMarketCap, preliminary on-chain analysis shows there are 39 victims with total losses of $18,570.
Insider: OKX is considering an IPO in the US
According to The Information's crypto reporter Yueqi Yang, cryptocurrency exchange OKX is considering an initial public offering (IPO) in the US after returning to the US market in April this year.
FTX bankruptcy management lawyers recently objected to the $1.53 billion claim made by Three Arrows Capital (3AC), requesting the court to dismiss it in full.
The lawyers stated that 3AC's losses were due to market fluctuations and its own withdrawals, unrelated to FTX. In March of this year, the bankruptcy court approved 3AC to increase its claim amount from $120 million to $1.53 billion. In November 2024, 3AC claimed that FTX sold $1.5 billion worth of assets two weeks before it initiated liquidation, citing new evidence. However, FTX's lawyers countered that the claim was based on unreasonable premises, inaccurate data, and disregard for facts.
FTX pointed out that after the Terra collapse in June 2022, 3AC's account balance fell below $240 million, yet it did not replenish the margin and instead withdrew $18 million in ETH. FTX subsequently liquidated $820 million in assets to avoid a loss of $18 million when the account went bankrupt. 3AC must submit a response by July 11, with a hearing scheduled for August 12.
