Mastercard partners with Chainlink to support on-chain cryptocurrency purchases

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Mastercard has partnered with Chainlink to allow 3 billion Mastercard holders worldwide to purchase cryptocurrencies directly on the blockchain. This service integrates platforms such as Shift4, Zerohash, XSwap, and Uniswap, enabling data exchange between card networks and multiple chains through Chainlink's interoperability protocol.

This is another move by Mastercard in the cryptocurrency space, having previously launched stablecoin payments and crypto debit card services with MoonPay and Kraken, respectively.
