ChainCatcher news, according to Globenewswire, American investor and entrepreneur Anthony Pompliano announced today that the Bitcoin-native financial services company ProCap BTC, LLC has purchased 1,208 bitcoins at a time-weighted average price (TWAP) of $105,977. As a result, the company's Bitcoin holdings on its balance sheet have reached 4,932 bitcoins.

This acquisition is part of the company's ongoing Bitcoin purchasing program. The company quickly allocated the funds raised from the signed agreement to increase its Bitcoin holdings, allowing equity investors to gain exposure to Bitcoin assets from the outset of the financing. As a long-term strategy, the company will continue to increase its Bitcoin assets, and it is expected that when the business merger is completed, the value of Bitcoin holdings on ProCap Financial's balance sheet will reach $1 billion.
