Indian politicians call for the launch of a Bitcoin reserve pilot program

ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, Pradeep Bhandari, the national spokesperson for the ruling party in India, has called for the country to consider launching a pilot program for Bitcoin reserves, stating that this would be a strategic step towards economic resilience.

The spokesperson stated that India has a growing renewable energy infrastructure and is capable of formulating a sovereign Bitcoin strategy, claiming "this is not a reckless shift, but a thoughtful step towards embracing the legitimacy of digital assets."
