The U.S. House of Representatives passed HB1664, a bill to guide the Department of Commerce in promoting blockchain technology

According to ChainCatcher news and reported by Bitcoin Laws, the U.S. House of Representatives has passed the HB1664 bill directing the Department of Commerce to promote "blockchain technology."

The bill is titled the "Deploying American Blockchains Act," which instructs the Department of Commerce to take several measures: develop policies to enhance U.S. competitiveness, coordinate the adoption of blockchain technology across agencies, issue relevant guidelines, and support the construction of open-source infrastructure.
