The Ethereum-compatible sidechain of the XRP Ledger has been launched on the mainnet

ChainCatcher news, the XRPL EVM sidechain is now live on the mainnet, integrating Ethereum smart contracts into the XRP Ledger ecosystem, aiming to open up Ethereum-compatible decentralized application use cases for the XRP Ledger.

It is reported that the XRPL EVM sidechain is a parallel-running blockchain that combines the low-cost transaction capabilities of the XRP Ledger with the smart contract functionalities of Ethereum.
