Data: The 40x BTC short position of the giant whale qwatio was partially liquidated at 50 million dollars, and the remaining position is also on the brink of liquidation

ChainCatcher news, according to on-chain data analyst Yu Jin's monitoring, the "insider trader" known as @qwatio has once again faced forced liquidation of their short position.

It is reported that after increasing their short position yesterday, BTC pulled back to the $105,500 level, at which point their short position was close to breaking even, but they did not close it. After a rise tonight, their short position was once again forcibly liquidated for $50 million.

Now their short position has been reduced from $250 million to $200 million due to liquidation, and the remaining position is still on the edge of being liquidated. The current situation is as follows:

  • 40x short 1,131 BTC, worth $122 million, opening price $106,697, liquidation price $108,768;
  • 25x short 33,000 ETH, worth $82.58 million, opening price $2,452, liquidation price $2,508.
