ChainCatcher news, according to analyst Yu Jin's monitoring, a whale holding Ethereum for 8 years transferred 4,123 ETH (approximately 10.51 million USD) to the Gemini exchange 9 hours ago when the ETH price was close to 2,600 USD. This is the largest transfer from this address since 2024.

This address accumulated 21,662 ETH at an average price of about 569 USD through Gemini and Kraken in 2017. Since 2024, this address has gradually started transferring ETH to Gemini, but previously it was mostly small transfers of dozens to hundreds of ETH.

As of now, this whale has transferred a total of 6,361 ETH (approximately 16.03 million USD) at an average price of about 2,520 USD, fully covering its initial cost of 12.33 million USD.

Currently, this address still holds 13,538 ETH (approximately 34.94 million USD), and these assets have all been converted into profit.
