Institution: The market is not panicking over Trump's tariffs
ChainCatcher news, analysis agency Jyske Markets believes that ahead of the July 9 deadline for U.S. tariff negotiations, the market is showing some signs of tension, but there is no panic.
Jyske stated that investors have adopted a somewhat wait-and-see attitude since Monday. Trump indicated that the tariff letter would be sent out as early as Monday, notifying countries of the new tariffs, while the U.S. Secretary of Commerce stated that the tariffs would not take effect until August 1. "Despite some tension today, the market's reaction to the tariff situation seems to be much more relaxed, so a repeat of the panic seen after the liberation day on April 25 is not expected." This week is light on data, and tariffs will be the main focus.
