Bloomberg analysts: BlackRock currently holds over 700,000 BTC, just 38% away from surpassing Satoshi Nakamoto

ChainCatcher news, Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas posted on the X platform that BlackRock currently holds over 700,000 bitcoins, just 38% away from surpassing Satoshi Nakamoto to become the world's largest single bitcoin holder (if all bitcoin ETFs are considered as a whole management entity, they have already surpassed Satoshi Nakamoto).

BlackRock's Bitcoin spot ETF------IBIT, is currently absorbing bitcoins at a rate of 40,000 per month (approximately 1,300 per day), and is expected to reach a holding amount of 1.2 million by May 2026.
