Eigen Labs announces a layoff of about 25%, shifting its business focus to EigenCloud

ChainCatcher news, according to Blockworks, Eigen Labs announced layoffs of about 25% (29 employees), shifting its business focus to EigenCloud.

EigenCloud was launched last month and is a developer platform focused on off-chain and on-chain verification. a16z announced an investment of $70 million, and the company has raised a total of $220 million, including $50 million in the Series A funding in 2023.
