Data: a16z crypto liquidates COMP, transferring out 800,000 tokens within 10 days

ChainCatcher news, according to Ember monitoring, the venture capital firm a16z crypto (@a16zcrypto) transferred the remaining 400,000 COMP tokens (worth approximately $16.48 million) from its address to Coinbase Prime about 3 hours ago, completely clearing its COMP token holdings.

They had just transferred 400,000 COMP tokens to Coinbase Prime at the end of last month, and today they transferred another 400,000. In just 10 days, they moved a total of 800,000 COMP tokens to Coinbase Prime, worth up to $34.81 million.

Ten days ago, when they transferred out 400,000 COMP tokens, the price of COMP was still at $46, but now the price of COMP is only $41. This is a decrease of 11%. Transferring out another 400,000 now may further drive down the price of COMP tokens.
