The Russian Embassy has requested the U.S. State Department to provide the current status of former WEX CEO Dmitry Vasiliev

ChainCatcher news, according to Cryptonews, the Russian Embassy in Washington, D.C. has requested the U.S. State Department to provide an update on the situation of Dmitry Vasiliev, the former CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange WEX.

The Russian state news agency TASS reported that the embassy has formally submitted a request to the State Department. The embassy stated that it is "closely monitoring the situation of Dmitry Vasiliev" and has asked the U.S. State Department to provide information regarding Vasiliev's location, health status, and procedural status as soon as possible.
