ChainCatcher news, according to Cryptonews, Spanish lawmakers are calling for the country's financial regulators to implement a "traffic light" risk warning system for crypto assets.

The system will categorize crypto assets into four levels: green, yellow, orange, and red, based on their registration, support, regulatory status, and market performance stability.

Green represents assets that are well-registered, supported, and regulated; yellow indicates assets with "limited support" or moderate volatility; orange signifies unregulated, high-risk assets; and red is used for speculative assets with "no clear issuer or substantial support."
